Twinings ASSAM Tea – 80 sachets

A qué sabe este té?  Es un té audaz, satisfactoria y adecuada con un sabor duradero y con cuerpo.

¿De dónde viene?  Solo hay dos lugares en el mundo donde las plantas de té son nativas. Assam, en el noreste de la India, es uno de ellos.  Twinings ha estado obteniendo té de los jardines en las llanuras aluviales del río Brahmaputra desde 1838. Asi se va aprendendiendo una o dos cosas en casi 200 años, como qué hojas dan el mejor sabor. Por eso se sabe que el Twinings Assam Tea contiene solo lo mejor. (China es el otro, en caso de que te lo estés preguntando).

¿Qué hace que este té sea diferente? Las hojas de Assam que se utilizan no se recolectan hasta junio porque es cuando se comienza a hacer el té de mejor sabor. Afuera de esta época el sabor no es el mismo.

What does it taste like?  A bold, satisfying, proper cup of tea with a full-bodied, lasting flavour.

Where does it come from?  There are only two places in the world where tea plants are native. Assam in north-east India is one of them. We’ve been sourcing tea from gardens on the flood plains of the Brahmaputra River since 1838. You learn a thing or two in almost 200 years, like which leaves give the best flavour. That’s how we know our Assam contains only the best. (China’s the other one, in case you were wondering).

What makes this tea different?  Our Assam leaves aren’t picked until June because that’s when they start making the best-tasting tea.  Off-peak is just not the same.
